I just registered my child and I am wondering when does the season or first day on snow typically start?
Because skiing depends entirely on the weather and snow conditions, we cannot guarantee an exact start date for lessons just yet. We usually aim for the first week of December, aligning with the first Saturday that Mission Ridge Winter Park officially opens for the season. We will email you closer to the date with precise details, but please keep an eye out for Mission Ridge opening day announcements and an email from our committee.
My child would like to join the ski club and has skied with his school for a few years and has had some lessons and experience before. Which group would I register him for?
If this is your childs first time joining QVSC and a ski club, please register them in the SnowStars program to start. Then based on their skill, age and assessment by the coaches your child will be placed in the correct group.
I am wondering how long the ski season usually goes for?
Our ski season typically runs from December to March.
